Premier League Clubs Keeping Tabs On Arsenal Goalkeeper Ejeheri
Published: November 18, 2020Promising Greenwich-born goalkeeper of Nigerian descent Ovie Ejeheri is being linked with a possible move away from the Emirates Stadium in future.
Sky Sports UK is reporting that a number of unnamed English Premier League clubs have been keeping tabs on Ejeheri.
Ejeheri's development at the Gunners has been stalled by injuries over the last two seasons and he only made his debut for the U18 team in a 5-1 rout of Norwich City at the end of last month.
The 17-year-old, a second-year scholar, has entered the final seven months of his contract with Arsenal and could be departing the north London club at the end of the 2020-2021 season if he's not offered a new deal.
He has served as back-up goalkeeper to Hubert Graczyk in the U18 Premier League and has made the bench for EFL Trophy and Premier League 2 matches.
Ejeheri joined Arsenal at the age of five, rising through the ranks before earning a promotion to their U18 squad.
The uncapped teenager is also eligible to represent the Uganda national teams apart from Nigeria and England.
