Official : Non-leaguers confirm signing of Nottingham Forest's Nigerian defender
Published: January 28, 2023Through a statement on their official website, Non-leaguers Redditch United have announced the signing of Nigerian defender Osa Solomon.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported on Friday morning that English Premier League club Nottingham Forest have loaned out promising fullback Solomon to the Southern League Premier Division Central club.
Redditch United have also confirmed, just as allnigeriasoccer.com previously reported, that Solomon has joined on work experience from Nottingham Forest for the rest of the 2022-2023 season.
The transfer was completed in time for Solomon to be available for selection to face Bromsgrove Sporting at the Trico Stadium this afternoon.
The teenager could end his association with Nottingham Forest in the summer if he does not put pen to paper on a new contract as his current deal with the two-time European champions expires at the end of the season.
Solomon has returned to full fitness after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury which kept him out of action for several months.
