Eze, Solanke battle Liverpool striker, 5 others for PL Player of the Month

Super Eagles' eligible duo of Eberechi Eze and Dominic Solanke have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for April.
They join Liverpool forward Diogo Jota and five others on the nomination list.
Other contenders for the Premier League Player of the Month are Manchester City pair Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland; Newcastle United forwards Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson; and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
Eze was exceptional for Crystal Palace in April, scoring four goals, which is half of the total number of goals he has scored this season.
The attacking midfielder has now registered 8 goals and three assists in 34 appearances in the Premier League this season for the Eagles.
Solanke was also pivotal for Bournemouth in April as the Cherries made a run that has now kept them nine points adrift of the relegation zone.
The Anglo-Nigerian made six goal contributions for Gary O'Neil's side, scoring three goals and three assists.
He has now registered six goals and seven assists in 29 appearances in the Premier League this season.
