Ajax sign Feyenoord's Dutch-Nigerian midfielder for youth team
Published: July 03, 2023
Ajax Amsterdam have bolstered their academy ranks with the signing of talented Dutch-Nigerian midfielder Nnamdi Koka.
Voetbal Primeur making reference to the social media account of Ajax youth team expert, Ajax YA, has reported that Feyenoord talent Nnamdi Koka has transferred to Ajax.
Koka's switch to the Amsterdam club has ended his nine-year association with Feyenoord, whom he joined in the 2014-2015 season.
Although Koka is a Netherlands underage international, he keeps track of the activities of Nigeria's senior national team by following the Super Eagles on social media.
He was named in the Netherlands U15 squad for two international matches against Austria in mid-June.
By moving to Ajax, Koka has followed in the footsteps of Noa Lang, Jurriën Timber, Quinten Timber, Avery Appiah and Rico Speksnijder, who all made the switch to the Amsterdam club from the Feyenoord academy.
Born June 27, 2008, Koka will represent Ajax Amsterdam's U16 team in the forthcoming season.
