2014 Nigeria U23 invitee Dominic Iorfa is being linked with a possible departure from Sheffield Wednesday this summer.
According to Football League World, making reference to Alan Nixon via Patreon, Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb are interested in signing the former England underage international.
The 28-year-old has been on the books of Sheffield Wednesday since 2019 and has entered the last twelve months of his contract at the Championship new boys.
Given that he can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club in the January transfer window, this summer is the Owls' last chance to cash in on the versatile defender who is capable of playing as a centre-back and right fullback.
Iorfa played a key role as a Sheffield Wednesday team coached by Darren Moore secured promotion to the English second tier last season, making 35 appearances including the playoffs.
A product of the Southend United and Wolverhampton Wanderers academies, he is the son of former Super Eagles striker, also named, Dominic Iorfa who represented Nigeria at the 1995 FIFA Confederations Cup.
The younger Iorfa enjoyed loan spells at Shrewsbury Town and Ipswich Town during his time at Wolves.
