Chelsea hope to secure deal worth N44.2b for Crystal Palace winger Olise

Chelsea are moving closer to capturing the signature of 2021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise.
According to Evening Standard, Chelsea are on the verge of agreeing on personal terms with the France U21 international of Nigerian descent and hope to secure a deal worth around 45 million pounds (approximately N44.2 billion in Nigerian currency) for him.
The 21-year-old offers versatility to the Blues as he can play as an attacking midfielder and a right winger.
He excelled playing as a winger last season for Crystal Palace and entered the club's history books by becoming the first player to notch 10 assists in a single Premier League season.
The former Reading star finished the campaign with 11 assists which was the joint third-best in the Premier League last season.
Chelsea want to bounce back from last season's disappointment which saw them finish with 44 points, the worst in their Premier League history.
They have fortified the squad with the signings of Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Axel Disasi, Lesley Ugochukwu, Ângelo and Robert Sanchez this summer
Should Olise join the London-based club, he will become the second player of Nigerian descent to be acquired by the Blues in this transfer window with the other being Ugochukwu.
