Super Eagles star Bassey sends message to injured Arsenal defender Timber

Super Eagles centre-back Calvin Bassey has reacted to the news that Jurrien Timber has suffered an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.and has sent a sympathizing message to the Arsenal defender.
The duo are no strangers as they spent a season together at Ajax Amsterdam.
Arsenal confirmed on Wednesday that Timber is set to undergo surgery in the coming days and will be out for a period of time.
The Netherlands international sustained the injury in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the new Premier League season and was replaced by Takehiro Tomiyasu four minutes into the second half.
The 22-year-old has taken to Instagram to express his disappointment upon discovering the nature of his injury and has received a lot of warm wishes from fans and teammates past and present.
Bassey was also not left out and also reacted to the post with a heart emoji in the comment section.
Timber joined Mikel Arteta's side this summer from Ajax and played a pivotal role in the Gunners beating Manchester City to the Community Shield.
Bassey also left the Dutch giants in the current transfer window to join Fulham on a four-year deal.
