Done deal: Manchester City's sister club, Lommel SK loan out Nigerian striker
Published: September 08, 2023Manchester City's sister club and part of the City Football Group, Lommel SK have announced via their official website that Nigerian striker Jordan Attah Kadiri has been loaned out to Belgian Challenger Pro League rivals Francs Borains.
Francs Borains informed that the deal was completed before the close of the summer transfer window in Belgium.
Kadiri will spend the remainder of the 2023-2024 season at Francs Borains.
The 23-year-old has yet to make his season debut for Lommel SK and has joined Francs Borains in search of regular game time.
He transferred to Lommel SK in August 2020 and has gone on to make 41 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring five goals.
Kadiri previously spent time on loan at Scandinavian clubs Strømsgodset IF and Östersunds FK.
The 2000-born player was recruited by Östersunds FK in 2019 after spells with Nasarawa United, Catholic Cadet FC and Sunsel Football Club in his homeland.
Francs Borains occupy the eighth position in the standings with six points from four matches.
