Super Eagles star Osayi-Samuel tells Fenerbahce coach he dreams of playing in the Premier League
Published: October 24, 2023
According to 90min.com, Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel has reportedly told Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal about his ambition to move to the Premier League.
This comes as no surprise as the 25-year-old had previously declared his love and dream to play in the English top-flight
He was linked with Brentford and Bournemouth in the just-concluded transfer window but nothing concrete transpired between him and the aforementioned clubs.
Osayi-Samuel is no stranger to English football as he began his career with Blackpool before moving to Queens Park Rangers but was unable to play in the Premier League.
He joined Fenerbahçe in 2021 and has made 113 appearances across all competitions for the Turkish side.
The Nigeria international has begun life under Kartal who became Fenerbahçe manager in the summer in a rich vein of form scoring 2 goals in six Süper Lig appearances.
Osayi-Samuel's current contract with the Yellow Canaries ends in 2025 which means any interested club might have to cough out a reasonable sum of money to acquire his services next summer.
