The Super Falcons got the better of Cameroon by a solitary goal in the second leg of the third round of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Allnigeriasoccer.com runs through the Nigerian players in action during the game.

The starters

Goalkeeper

Chiamaka Nnadozie: She had a good day in office as the Cameroonians didn't create any clear-cut opportunity and maintained her composure throughout the game. 7.5/10

Defenders

Michelle Alozie: The right-back picked it up where she left it in the first leg, dealing with the threat that came her way but wasn't decisive enough whenever she bumped forward. 6/10

Osinachi Ohale: It was another dominant display from the 32-year-old who made sure the Cameroonians had no sniff of the Nigerian goal with her physicality and good reading of the game. 8/10

Oluwatosin Demehin: She did very well covering for her teammates whenever they were out of their natural position but unfortunately had her game brought to an abrupt end in the first half due to a suspected injury. 7/10

Ashleigh Plumptre: Started the game well, coping with the threat of the opposition but got leggy late on, losing most of her tackles within that period. 6/10

Midfielders and strikers

Deborah Abiodun: She was the most outstanding player as she put no foot wrong throughout the contest, with her industry and made an unbelievable block in the second half. 9/10

Christy Ucheibe: It was a decent but not spectacular performance for the Benfica midfielder, who helped to control the tempo of the game. 6/10

Jennifer Echegini: She single-handedly created the only goal of the tie with a Lionel Messi-esque moment though fizzled out afterward. 8/10

Toni Payne: It was an anonymous display from the Sevilla forward who created nothing for her teammate and posed no threat to the Cameroonian defense. 5.5/10

Esther Okoronkwo: Showed good awareness and composure for the goal and her movement troubled the Indomitable Lionesses' defense. 8/10

The substitutes

Halimatu Ayinde: She did very well to cover for Demehin at left back and didn't look like one played out of position. 7/10

Uchenna Kanu: Struggled to cope with the physicality of the game and was constantly bullied off the ball. 5/10

Asisat Oshoala: She was more active than she was in the first leg and her presence on the field was felt. 6/10

Esther Akudo Ogbonna: Conceded a needless foul late on in the game and didn't do anything noteworthy besides that. 5/10

Rinsola Babajide: She tried an ambitious effort very late in the contest which was the only instance of her threatening the opposition's goal. 5.5/10
