Manchester United confident of beating Chelsea to the signing of Nigerian winger

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Manchester United are confident of beating Chelsea to the signing of the 2021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise.
The Old Trafford outfit want to revamp their present squad next summer and has identified the Crystal Palace forward as the target to kick-start a new era under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The 22-year-old is capable of playing as a midfielder but predominantly features in the right wing and will be a good addition for the Red Devils if they can pull a deal off for him.
Having established himself as one of the key players for Crystal Palace, the French youth international is one of the brightest prospects in the Premier League at the moment.
He was a transfer target for Manchester City and Chelsea last summer but chose to extend his contract with the South London club for four more years with a release clause which is unknown yet.
Olise has missed most of the season with injuries and that has also had a telling impact on the season for the Eagles who sit in the 14th position in the table at the moment.
With six and three assists, the French-Nigerian forward has the second-most goal involvements for Crystal Palace in the Premier League this term.
