CAF Nominates Super Falcons For Team Of The Year

On Tuesday, Africa's governing body, CAF announced the nominees of other categories for the GLO-CAF Awards.
Despite failing to finish in the top three positions at the last African Women's Championship in Equatorial Guinea, the Super Falcons of Nigeria are one of the three teams nominated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for 2012 Women’s National Team of the Year.
The Super Falcons will compete with African champions Equatorial Guinea and Ghana Under 17's for the award.
Zambia, Ivory Coast, Central Africa Republic and Cape Verde are in the running for the Men's Award.
The winners of the awards will be known on December 20 at a ceremony in Accra, Ghana.
