Rosenborg's John Chibuike To Make First Start Of The Season
Published: May 07, 2013
According to a report by adressa.no, Nigerian midfielder John Chibuike could make his first start of the 2013 season when Rosenborg entertain Tromso in the eighth round of matches on Wednesday, May 8.
''We've got a situation where more people have signed up in the race to get started. Chibuike is definitely one of them,''manager Per Joar Hansen said to the Norwegian website.
24 - year - old John Chibuike has made 5 appearances in the Tippeligaen, coming on as substitute in all the matches.
Not satisfied with his bit part role at the Scandinavian powerhouse, he did a Carlos Tevez by refusing to warm up in the tie against IK Start on April 12.
Whatever the reason for his behavior last month, it now appears that the former BK Hacken ace is now back in the good books of manager Per Joar Hansen.
John Chibuike's contract with RBK expires at the end of the 2014 season.
