Boreham Wood have rejected a fresh £1.5 million (N2.8 billion) bid from Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgardens for highly-rated winger Abdul Abdulmalik, according to Sky Sports UK.
Boreham Wood have rejected several offers for the forward, including a £1 million bid from Djurgardens earlier this month.
Abdulmalik enjoyed an impressive campaign with Boreham Wood last season, establishing himself as one of the standout performers in the National League.
The 23-year-old registered 17 goals and 10 assists in 54 appearances across all competitions, playing a key role in the club's successful campaign.
His outstanding contributions were recognised at the end of the season when he was named the National League Young Player of the Year.
This term, he has picked up where he left off last season, registering one goal and two assists in the National League's opening two fixtures.
Blessed with blistering pace and excellent footwork, Abdulmalik is a difficult opponent to contain in one-on-one duels.
He joined Boreham Wood in July 2024 after leaving Championship club Millwall.
