With a statement on their official website, Premier League giants Manchester United have confirmed the signing of English-Nigerian youngster David Eze.
Eze (pictured) has joined the Red Devils Academy following his departure from Manchester City.
The English Football Association had earlier hinted that the 16-year-old's transfer to Manchester United was a done deal after listing Manchester United as his club in their squad announcement for England's youth teams.
A central midfielder by trade, the promising teenager is believed to have signed a scholarship deal and will be eligible to put pen to paper on his first professional contract from March 2027, when he turns 17.
He spent eight years on the books of Manchester City and has represented England's Young Lions at U15 and U16 levels.
Elsewhere, German-Nigerian forward Noah Ajayi has committed his future to Manchester United by signing a long-term professional contract.
The 17-year-old, who is a Germany U19 international, made his debut in the UEFA Youth League this season.
The Hamburg native was a key member of the United side that reached last season's FA Youth Cup final, scoring twice in five appearances in the competition.
