In a statement published on their official website, newly promoted League One club Notts County have confirmed that Nigerian forward Daniel Emmanuel has signed a new contract.
Emmanuel is among six players to have signed extended scholarships with the Magpies, alongside Adam Rowe, Mylo Baker, Nikos Szczesny, Themba Nyirenda and Alfie Rice.
The 18-year-old signed a scholarship contract with Notts County in July 2024 and will enter the third year of his scholarship in the forthcoming season following his latest contract extension.
He made his first-team debut in Notts County's 1-0 victory over Leicester City U21s in the EFL Trophy in November 2024, before making another senior appearance against Manchester United U21s a year later.
Emmanuel has also represented Notts County in the prestigious FA Youth Cup, featuring against Fulham in the third round of the 2024-25 competition.
A player with considerable potential and ambition, Emmanuel offers versatility as he is comfortable playing as a wing-back.
Retired Nigeria internationals Michael Emenalo, John Chiedozie and Ade Akinbiyi all represented Notts County during their playing careers.
