Fabrizio Romano names the two strikers Tottenham Hotspur are considering amid Osimhen links

Italian transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the speculation linking Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen with a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the current summer transfer window.

The former African Footballer of the Year has been in excellent form since joining Galatasaray from Italian club Napoli, helping the Yellow-Reds secure the last two Super Lig titles.

Osimhen has continued his impressive form into the new campaign, scoring a brace to ensure Galatasaray avoided defeat in their opening match against Çorum.

His outstanding performances have once again attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe, with London-based Tottenham Hotspur reportedly among the clubs linked with the Nigerian striker.

Providing an update on the speculation, Romano revealed that Tottenham are in the market for attacking reinforcements before the end of the transfer window.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the Italian transfer expert admitted that he has no information regarding a possible move for Osimhen, while revealing that Omar Marmoush and Nicolas Jackson are among the forwards being monitored by Spurs.

“Centre striker Omar Marmoush and Nicolas Jackson are options," Romano said.

"I don’t have any confirmation regarding the name of Victor Osimhen, which has been going around in recent days and weeks. This is the situation regarding Tottenham Hotspur."

With just a few days remaining before the summer window closes, Osimhen will be keen to resolve his future at Rams Park and remain focused on maintaining his impressive goalscoring form.
