Oyo FA Bars Sporting Press From League MatchIn enforcing the playing behind closed door punishment slammed on Ibadan darling team 3SC by Organising and Disciplinary Committee (O&D) of Nigerian Football Federations (NFF), men of Oyo State Football Association locked out sports journalists who came from far and near to cover the week 22 game of Nigeria Premier League which involved 3SC who hosted Dolphins of Port-Harcourt at Lekan Salami Sports Complex.
 
The Secretary of Oyo FA Kehinde Ojelowo who lead other personnel which included security operatives sealed all the gates leading to the Stadium premises while the following officials18 players from 3SC and Dolphins, Welfare Officers (from both clubs), Club Chairman (3SC and Dolphins), Medical officials from both clubs, Ball Boys, Two Camera men (from 3SC and Dolphins) and Center Referee, Two Assistant Referees, fourth official and Match Commissioner were the only people allowed into the stadium.

All pleas made by members of the press especially those that traveled to cover the match fell on the deaf ears of the Oyo FA officials and fierce looking mobile policemen at the entrance.

The administrative Secretary of Shooting Stars, Demola Alabi, media officer of the club, Jubril Arowolo who were also fenced out fumed while alleging over zealousness on the part of their home FA who said the Match Commissioner, E. S Chukwuemeka from Abia State gave them the directive.
