Beikta J.K have completed the signing of Nigeria international Michael Eneramo, president Fikret Orman announced at a press conference on Saturday, after the Black Eagles lost 3 - 1 to Southampton in a pre - season friendly.
There was uncertainty surrounding the transfer of the 27 - year - old attacker after a traditional medical revealed that he had a heart defect plus right knee meniscus injury.
The Super Eagle later underwent an operation to repair the damage while a second round of examination by the Besiktas medics gave him the green-light to continue playing active football despite what was noticed in the first test, that he had an irregular heartbeat.
Turkish sports daily Fanatik says Besiktas have reached an agreement with Michael Eneramo and the heart condition which had been a stumbling block was no longer an issue.
For now, the terms and duration of the contract have not been disclosed, however, as first published by allnigeriasoccer.com, the 27 - year - old striker is believed to have signed a three - year deal.
