Official : Olarenwaju Kayode Pens One - Year Deal With Maccabi Netanya
Published: September 12, 2013
Israeli second - tier club Maccabi Netanya have completed the signing of Nigeria Under 20 international Olarenwaju Kayode on a one - year contract from ASEC Mimosas.
Before Kayode decided to pitch his tent up with The Diamonds, he reportedly attracted interest from clubs in Croatia (Hajduk Split) and Tunisia (Esperance).
The 20 - year - old attacker underwent a medical on Thursday before he was unveiled by the Liga Leumit outfit.
It is strongly believed that the youngster impressed manager Reuven Atar during the last Fifa Under 20s held in Turkey.
Olarenwaju Kayode’s future had earlier been covered in mist but Fifa recently stated that he had a valid contract with ASEC Mimosas.
Should the Flying Eagle prove his fitness, he could make his league debut for Maccabi Netanya next Monday against Beitar Shimshon Tel Aviv.
