Manager Michel Heaps Praise On Michael Olaitan
Published: December 02, 2013
Nigeria Under 20 international Michael Olaitan has been praised by Olympiakos manager Míchel for his performance on Sunday evening in the 3 - 0 win over Ergotelis.
The Flying Eagles star was handed a starting shirt and he repaid the manager’s faith, netting in first half stoppage time.
To think that Olaitan did not resume pre - season training early with the Olympiakos squad due to commitments with the Nigeria selection, he deserves the praise showered on him by the Spanish gaffer.
“All I can say is that if someone wants to get the shirt, you must fight as Olaitan played today,” Michel told reporters.
The exciting prospect, once nominated for the best talent in Greece’s second - tier, has netted three goals in all competitions so far this season.
