Godfrey Oboabona Happy To Net Debut Goal For Rizespor

Rizespor stopper Godfrey Oboabona has said that he was very delighted to net his first goal for the Turkish club in their 2 - 1 loss to Konyaspor on Monday evening.
The Nigeria international was on target in the 72nd minute but his joy did not last long after scoring an own goal eight minutes later.
“I give thanks to God for my first goal in Turkey. I am so happy.
“ On the other hand, I am not pleased we lost the game and I was cautioned for the first time this season,” Godfrey Oboabona told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation on Monday evening.
23 - year - old Oboabona, who penned a four - year contract with Rizespor in the summer transfer window, has made five starts in the Super League.
Rizespor have picked a paltry one point from their last five matches, and occupy the 13th position in the standings with 15 points in the kitty.
