Fifa Announces Composition Of World Cup Draw Pots

Football governing body, Fifa on Tuesday announced the composition of the baskets before the draw of the World Cup scheduled to be held on December 6 in Brazil.
Nigeria as well as fellow Africans Ghana, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Cameroon and Chile are in pot 2.
Pot 1 consists of the top eight seeds - Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Germany, Switzerland and Uruguay.
Japan, Iran, South Korea, Australia, United States, Mexico, Costa Rica and Honduras make up Pot 3.
Europeans Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Russia were allocated Pot 4.
Before the start of the draw, one of the teams in pot 4 will be randomly moved to pot 2 to preserve the geographical balance of the draw.
