Istanbul powerhouse Besiktas have set the wheels in motion in their bid to sign Dynamo Kiev attacker Brown Ideye this month.
In recent days, statements credited to the Nigeria international had suggested that he was unhappy with his bench role at the Kievites and is mulling over his future.
Sporx.com says Besiktas are in the market for a new forward to replace Hugo Almeida and the Eagles hierarchy has beamed its searchlight on Brown Ideye.
Following the arrival of Dieudonne Mbokani , the Nigeria international is not guaranteed a starting shirt unlike the previous two seasons spent in Ukraine.
