Back-to-back Albania champions Skënderbeu Korçë are in the market for a striker following the departure of Mario Morina to KF Tirana in the January transfer window.
One of the names being considered to replace the former Albania Under 21 international is Solomon Izuchukwu, Skënderbeu Korçë supremo Takaj Arjdjan has confirmed.
But the president has admitted that negotiations for the acquisition of the Nigerian forward is not going as planned.
“I am aware of the situation, but I would say that Izuchukwu has many offers from other teams.
“There are many teams who seek and want to clarify that I did not go into the auction for any footballer.
“In addition, I would say that at present we do not want to do anything public, regarding agreements with some players.
“We will specify and will make them public only at the end, when everything is official,” Takaj Arjdjan told Panorama Sport.
