Falcons Manager, Edwin Okon Includes Desire Oparanozie In Squad To Face Rwanda

Falcons manager Edwin Okon overlooked Gloria Ofoegbu and Glory Iroka as he named a squad of 18 players for the upcoming African Women Championship qualifying fixture against Rwanda.
Otherwise there were no major surprises in the squad made up of 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 8 midfielders and 3 strikers unveiled to the public on Wednesday
Two of the headline names on the list are Onome Ebi of Minsk, Belarus and Ataşehir Belediyespor forward Desire Oparanozie.
Fans favorites Ngozi Okobi, Azizat Oshoala and Esther Sunday have also booked their plane tickets to Kigali.
It should be noted that Edwin Okon has no regular left fullback amongst the 18 players summoned for the trip.

Defenders : Onome Ebi, Blessing Edoho, Ngozi Ebere, Mariam Ibrahim, Josephine Chukwunonye
Midfielders : Evelyn Nwabuoku, Onyinyechi Ohadugha, Ngozi Okobi, Azizat Oshoala, Ceceilia Nku, Chioma Wogu, Stella Mbachu, Esther Sunday.
Strikers : Desire Oparanozie, Chiwendu Ihezuo, Yetunde Adeboyejo
