EXCLUSIVE: Agent Reveals Emenike Has Terminated Contract

Finnish agent Mikko Perälä, the intermediary representing Mbachu Emenike, has informed this portal that his client has shredded his contract with Finland Cup winners, RoPS., four months before the agreement was supposed to come to an end.

After surprisingly dropping down the pecking order for most part of the 2014 season, the left winger and his minders have decided it was best for the player to leave the Keskuskenttä, Rovaniemi for greener pastures.

“Emenike terminated his contract today and is looking more playing time  elsewhere. Emenike has made only 2 appearances this season in the starting line-up, scoring twice.

“He netted two goals in a surprise away  win against Mariehamn IFK which was played just in between RoPS’ Europa  League campaign games against Greece side Asteras Tripolis last week.

“The player is in top form, but not fitting to coaches plans,”says Mikko Perälä to allnigeriasoccer.com.

The CEO of TopSpot Limited suggested that Emenike will be heading probably to Malta for the rest of the season or to  Sweden where interest has been shown for him.

Mbachu Emenike netted 9 goals in 67 appearances for RoPS, cumulatively in the Veikkausliiga and Ykkonen.
