Monarch Pleads With Mimiko To Complete Ore Stadium

The traditional ruler of the city of Ore, Oba Olatomide Johnson, Olore of Ore, Odigbo Local government Ondo State has pleaded with the Governor of the state Olusegun Mimiko to ensure a speedy completion of the Stadium project going on in the town so that the teeming youths within the community can begin to use the facility.
The monarch who made the call while declaring the National Under-14 Soccer Championship going-on in the town said the competition would have been more glamorous if it’s been held inside the ultra modern sports complex.
Olore said Governor Mimiko is the only governor that bring meaningful development to the city in almost 50 years but should strive to complete all the projects he has started in the town so that they don’t become an abandoned one when leaving office.
“Our governor has proved to be an exemplary leader and a man of his words because he has deliver on every promises he made to us while campaigning to seek our vote.
“He promised us a mega school, modern market and stadium, and he has built the market and the school as youcan see that it’s one of the schools we are using for this event, the one that left is the stadium and is nearing 70% completion”, Oba Olatomide noted.
He however, urged the government to fast-track the sports center project so that subsequent sport event can be held and visitor can as well have a feel of the facility, while thanking Dr. Omikunle Emmanuel, the Chairman of National Association of Proprietor of Private School, Odigbo Local Government chapter that sponsored the event tagged ‘Ondo Unity 2014’ and A Square Sports International that organized it.
