Deportivo La Coruna Restrict Chigozie Obasi From Attending Award Ceremony
Published: September 27, 2014
The 16 - year - old central midfielder penned a preliminary contract with the Galician outfit in August, snubbing advances from Recreativo de Huelva, Real Avilés and Auxerre, according to his agent, Oliver Noah.
Before the list of awardees were made public, Deportivo La Coruna had already lined up programs for Obasi, including training matches.
Thus, the higher ups of the Brancoazuis have not permitted the youngster to make the 2555 - mile journey to the Nigerian capital.
As previously reported, Granada striker Isaac Success will not be linking up with his ex Golden Eaglets for the award ceremony on September 30.
