Yussuf Ayila Scores Late Match Winner For Metalist

Experienced Nigeria international Yussuf Ayila produced a moment of brilliance as Metalist defeated Metalurh Zaporizhya 2 - 1 in the Ukrainian Premier League on Sunday.

The Dynamo Kiev loanee scored the match - winner for Metalist two minutes into stoppage time to claim all three points for his temporary employers.

In the encounter staged at the Oblasny SportKomplex, Ruslan Platon gave the visitors the lead in the 78th minute, before Cleiton Xavier leveled matters for Metalist just before the final whistle.

Primarily a defender, Yussuf Ayila has notched up 6 goals in his last 79 matches for his clubs, Dynamo Kiev, Orduspor and Metalist.

The 29 - year - old, who has been on the payroll of Dynamo Kiev for more than a decade, is on loan at Metalist until the end of the 2014 - 2015 campaign.
