Hapoel Beer Sheva Coach Wary Of Anthony Nwakaeme
Published: October 17, 2014
Speaking ahead of the Israeli Premier League fixture against Hapoel Ra’anana, coach of Hapeol Be’er Sheva, Elisha Levy has cautioned his players to be wary of Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva, who pay the wages of Nigeria internationals Austin Ejide and John Ogu, will travel to the Karnei Oren Memorial Field brimming with confidence on the back of their 3 - 2 win over champions Maccabi Tel Aviv in the last round.
“They have some good players like Mamadou and Nwakeme but should be treated primarily as a group.
“Our support is always a significant factor, and I believe that tomorrow there will be a lot of fans in Netanya,” Elisha Levy was quoted as saying by one.co.il.
Meanwhile, Austin Ejide is back in Israel after international duty, and will be in between the pipes tomorrow against Hapoel Ranana.
The Nigeria goalkeeper will undergo individual training on Friday to prepare him for Saturday’s game.
