Official : Sani Emmanuel Finally Signs Beitar Jerusalem Contract After Boycotting Thursday Training
Published: October 24, 2014
This is now official. Israeli Premier League club Beitar Jerusalem completed the signing of ex Nigeria youth - teamer Sani Emmanuel on Thursday evening after a successful medical.
The 21 - year - old has appended his signature to a one - season deal with Beitar Jerusalem, with the capital outfit having the option to extend his deal by two more years next June.
Despite strong hints that Sani Emmanuel’s switch to Beitar Jerusalem was done and dusted, there was an important missing gap, with the player boycotting training yesterday due to the delay.
And that was caused by Beitar Jerusalem inserting an additional clause into the contract, which stipulated that the club can terminate his employment in January if he’s injured.
If his paperwork is in place before Monday’s away game against Hapoel Tel Aviv, Sani Emmanuel is in line to make his debut for his new employer.
