Abdul Ajagun Named In Panathinaikos Squad After One Month On The Sidelines
Published: December 06, 2014
Panathinaikos midfielder Abdul Ajagun has been named in the squad for the upcoming Super League clash against Asteras Tripolis.
This is the first time in the past four weeks that the former Flying Eagles midfielder has been summoned for a match after he picked up an injury in the Greens win over PAOK in November.
Having exercised normally on Saturday, manager Anastasiou has selected him for the game on Sunday against the fourth placed team in the Super League.
Before injury limited Abdul Ajagun’s appearances, he had scored three times in the topflight.
In his absence, Panathinaikos won two out of the three matches they played, with the only blip being the 2 - 1 loss to Dinamo Moscow in the Europa League.
