Nigeria To Face Brazil Again To Decide Bragging Rights
Published: June 01, 2015
World champions, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, have been invited for a tournament in Korea that will see them take on Brazil, United States and South Korea later this month.
Coach Emmanuel Amuneke has opined that the tourney will be a good test for his players ahead of the Fifa Under 17s in Chile this October.
“The 4-Nation Invitational is really good for us as it would further expose the players to competitions against teams that we could meet at the World Cup in Chile,” Emmanuel Amuneke told thenff.com.
The Golden Eaglet will face Brazil in their opening fixture on June 10 before squaring off against Korea and USA on the 12th and 14th of June respectively.
Prior to winning the 2007 Fifa U17s, the national team took part in a tournament in South Korea.
