FC Dallas Striker Tesho Akindele Becomes Cap- Tied After Making Official Debut For Canada

FC Dallas striker Tesho Akindele is now cap - tied to Canada and can no longer represent the national team of Nigeria at any level.
The Calgary - born player was in action for Canada Men’s National Team in their 2 - 0 win over Dominica in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers - Round 2.
Tesho Akindele, who slotted in at the left wing, played for 73 minutes before making way for Montreal Impact midfielder Maxim Tissot.
Earlier in the week, the Canadian - Nigerian was named to Canada’s provisional roster for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The 2014 MLS Rookie of the Year was also eligible to don the colours of United States before his official debut for Canada on Thursday.
