Saibou Badarou Comes Off Bench To Score Winner For Heartland
Published: July 02, 2015
Heartland further strengthened their title credentials with a narrow 1-0 win over Ifeanyi Uba FC at the Liberation Stadium on Wednesday.
The Naze Millionaires were first to hit the target early on with Bright Ejike testing the goalkeeper from range.
Heartland dictated the game from the middle of the park to try and unlock their opponents defence line.
Tricky winger Bright Onyedikachi was full of bag of trick for the visiting team. His direct approach and runs were amazing.
The visitors sat back and defended with more bodies.
However, they were punished by substitute Saibou Badarou, who brilliantly found the back of the net from a free-kick taken by Julius Ubido to make it 1-0 to Heartland three minutes from time.
