Super Eagles Crash In Fifa Ranking

On Thursday morning, the official website of Fifa published its latest ranking of national teams.
Compared to their ranking in the month of June, the Super Eagles have dropped 14 spots, and have a global ranking of 57th while they are tenth in the continental ranking.
Algeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Tunisia and Senegal are the best 5 teams in Africa in that order.
Our rivals to book a ticket at the 2017 African Cup of Nations- Egypt, Tanzania and Chad - are ranked 55th, 139th and 173rd respectively.
Following the second place finish at the Copa America, Argentina have leapfrogged Germany in the ranking, with Belgium, Colombia and Holland completing the top five positions.
