Dominic Iorfa And Dele Alli Debut For England Under 21s

Two Anglo - Nigerian players made their debut for the England Under 21 national team in their hard fought 1 - 0 win against the United States Olympic team on Thursday.
Head coach Gareth Southgate started the game staged at Deepdale, Preston North End with Tottenham Hostpur starlet Dele Alli as well as Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe while Dominic Iorfa dropped to the bench.
Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Iorfa, who trained with the senior squad earlier this week, hopped off the bench 16 minutes out of intermission, the same time Ibe and Alli were replaced.
As for the United States, Boyd Okwuonu (Real Salt Lake) was included in the starting line - up but was substituted around the hour - mark. Teammate Gboly Ariyibi (Huddersfield Town) was introduced in the 86th minute.
Manchester United striker James Wilson netted the match - winner in the 72nd minute.
