Sunday Oliseh Clears The Air On Pre - Match Press Conference No- Show
Published: September 04, 2015
Super Eagles manager Sunday Oliseh has explained the reason behind not turning up for the press conference ahead of Nigeria’s meeting with Tanzania.
It would be recalled that the Nigeria Football Federation informed through its official webpage that the pre - match press conference was scheduled to begin at 1100 hours local time on Friday.
But the former Ajax Amsterdam and Juventus midfielder has now claimed that he was unaware that we was due to field questions from journalists, majority of them Tanzanians, this morning.
“Let’s not create any issue out of this.We didn’t know about that conference. We are enjoying our stay here so far,” Sunday Oliseh said
“The Tanzanian people have been good to us so we can’t disrespect them. If we knew about it we would have been there. ”
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles had a feel of the National Stadium, Tanzania this afternoon, just as the NFF informed earlier today.
