Emem Eduok Rules Himself Out Of Esperance Clash Vs Marsa

Super Eagles striker Emem Eduok has decided to break his silence on the reason behind his late return to Tunisia after international duty with Nigeria.
The ex Nigeria youth international has confirmed that he picked up an ankle injury while making his debut against Tanzania on September 5 and might not recover on time for Wednesday’s Ligue 1 tie against Marsa.
“I was nursing an ankle injury that I picked up against Tanzania and that’s why I came to Tunisia late, I am still not okay, ” Emem Eduok said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I think by weekend I will be fully fit, I won’t be able to play tomorrow.”
Asked if he was in contact with Esperance while in Nigeria, Eduok replied : “Yes, I was in contact with Esperance. I don’t know if I will be fined.”
The 21 - year - old Eduok made 13 appearances in the Ligue 1 last term and was involved in 10 goals.
