Brown Ideye Excited By Prospect Of Facing Arsenal
Published: September 29, 2015
New signing Brown Ideye has traveled with the Olympiakos squad for the huge UEFA Champions clash against Arsenal on Tuesday night at The Emirates.
About a month ago, the Nigeria international cut his ties with West Brom after a season and he is eagerly looking forward to the match in London, having failed to take to the turf on the two occasions The Hammers faced off with Arsenal in the Premier League last season.
“I am really looking forward to the game against Arsenal at the Emirates and returning to England,” Ideye told ESPN FC.
“I never played against Arsenal when I was at West Brom and it will be a great test to come up against such a strong team as Arsenal.
“There is a lot at stake as both teams lost their opening games in the group and we are hoping we can get a positive result in London.”
Including the qualification rounds, Brown Ideye has 13 appearances to his name in the Champions League and has scored 4 goals.
