Macauley Chrisantus won the Man of the Match award in AEK Athens’ 1 - 0 win over Atromitos in the Greek Super League in the latest round of matches.
Despite spending only 11 minutes on the Olympiako Stadio Spyros Louis turf, the former Golden Eaglets star had the biggest impact in the game, scoring the match winner after coming on as a substitute.
In a space of three minutes, Macauley Chrisantus totally changed the game. He won a freekick in the 80th minute and scored from the resultant play with a header.
The ex Hamburg and Sivasspor striker had not scored in the top flight of any league since finding the back of the net against Galatasaray on September 26, 2014.
AEK Athens sit third in the standings with 13 points in their kitty after 6 rounds.
