Sunday Oliseh Targets Victory Against Swaziland
Published: November 13, 2015
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, is confident of success ahead of the
World Cup qualifier against Swaziland and the ex Juventus midfielder is
targeting a big win to make the second leg in Port Harcourt a mere
formality.
The 2013 African champions arrived in Swaziland at 1600 hours on Thursday before having a feel of the facilities at the the Somhlolo National Stadium three hours later, with the Nigeria manager supervising the players for 45 minutes under floodlights.
“Our objective is clear. We are here to play well and win well. The NFF are doing their part well by ensuring comfortable traveling and accommodation arrangements,” said Oliseh.
“Now, we will go to the field tomorrow and give our very best for our country.
“I have confidence in this group. The players still need time and matches to bond together very well, but I love the hunger to achieve that I see in these boys.”
Today’s game between Nigeria and Swaziland will begin at 1900 hours, which is 1800 hours in Nigeria.
