Swaziland Skipper Hoping Football Gods Smile On National Team
Published: November 13, 2015
Swaziland National Team skipper, Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze, is aware of the pedigree of the Super Eagles in African football, but stated they are not afraid to go toe - to - toe with the opponents.
The Mbabane Swallows midfielder is praying the football gods smile on the Sihlangu Semnikati when they face the Super Eagles on Friday night in front of their supporters at the Somhlolo National Stadium.
“Every team has their weaknesses and while I will not tell you our strategy, but we will certainly take advantage of some of Nigeria’s weaker points,” Tsabedze was quoted as saying by Swazi Observer.
“However, at the end of the day, we must focus more on what we can do to win the game rather than on their approach to the game.”
Swaziland, who are ranked 130th in the world, beat Djibouti 8 - 1 on aggregate to set up a meeting with Nigeria.
