Team Secretary Egbaiyelo Tayo Forcing Golden Eaglets Stars Bamgboye, Michael & Orji Okonkwo To Sign Representation Contracts
Published: December 01, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Team Secretary of the Golden Eaglets, Egbaiyelo Tayo, is trying to force a number of players in the Nigeria Under 17s squad to sign representation contracts with his nominated agent under duress.
This website can confirm that the affected players are Kingsley Michael ( Football College Abuja ), Funsho Bamgboye (Aspire Academy ) and Orji Okonkwo ( Football College Abuja).
Orji Okonkwo was supposed to travel to Italy last night to begin training with Spezia ahead of completing his switch to the Serie B side in the January transfer window, having been issued a visa by the Italian embassy in Lagos.
But his trip to Liguria was cancelled at the last minute, with Egbaiyelo Tayo informing the teenager, Football College Abuja and his representatives that he has a better deal for the player at Chelsea .
The Nigeria Football Federation official is engaged in conflict of interest and wants to destroy the career of Orji Okonkwo.
Football College Abuja higher - ups have asked Egbaiyelo Tayoto provide evidence of his communication with Chelsea and he has not been able to produce it.
Nigerian agents have insisted that their greatest competitors are not their foreign counterparts but a number of NFF officials who are involved in the illegal trading of players especially after major tournaments.
