Dream Team VI Coach Says Osimhen Is Not In Senegal To Make Numbers Up

Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia has revealed that Ultimate Strikers poster boy Victor Osimhen is not in Senegal to make the numbers up and will play some part at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations at the right time.
Osimhen was handed a call - up to the Nigeria U23s for the first time in his career after helping the Golden Eaglets win the Fifa Under 17s but was not involved in the team’s first game against Mali.
“The young man is in my plans, when the right time comes I will introduce him, ” Samson Siasia said.
“He has a lot of potentials that I can tell you, but we need to wait for the right time, he is a part of this team.”
Siasia preferred an attacking trident of Junior Ajayi, Taiwo Awoniyi and Etebo Oghenekaro in the game with Mali on Sunday.
