Exclusive : Gbolahan Salami Sacks Long - Term Agent Yomi Itshekure After Beating Him Up
Published: January 03, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Nigeria international Gbolahan Salami has parted company with his long - term agent Yomi Itshekure.
The relationship between Salami and Itshekure has not been rosy as it seemed, with the Warri Wolves frontman involved in a violent altercation with the agent and went to the extent of punching him on the nose.
Yomi Itshekure has been fingered as the main reason why the Super Eagles striker has been unable to bag a deal with a foreign club due to his outrageous demands.
For example, few years back, Fenerbahce were willing to part with $1 million to sign Salami but his agent demanded 1.5 million euros from former 36 Lion manager, Hasan Egilmez, who represented the Turkish club during negotiations.
If his proposed move overseas materializes, the 24 - year - old has promised to give Yomi a part of his entitlements just to show appreciation for being with him for so many years.
