Kelechi Iheanacho Happy Manchester City Are Back On Track
Published: March 06, 2016
Kelechi Iheanacho was delighted with Manchester City’s 4-0 rout of Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Citizens had lost three games in a row in the top-flight prior to yesterday’s game against the relegation strugglers and would have left the fourth Champions League spot if they had not defeated Villa at the Etihad.
Three minutes after Iheanacho joined the fray, he was brought down in the box but Sergio Aguero uncharacteristically failed to convert the resultant spot kick.
“Great win today getting back on track #ComeOnCity, ” Iheanacho posted on Twitter last night.
The 19-year-old Iheanacho has racked up 400 minutes of game time in the Premier League and has netted three times.
