The Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba is the action spot this afternoon when Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) take on Rivers United in this first live offering of match day seven of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
United come into the game on the back of three straight losses on the road following defeats to MFM FC, Giwa FC and Niger Tornadoes while 3SC have won two out of three home games this season.
The United technical manager, Stanley Eguma however insists things will be different this time.
We know that 3SC is a traditional team in the country.
“They have been doing well, even from last season and they are not doing badly this season.

“We are a very ambitious side, “Eguma told Rivers United media.
Saturday’s contest will represent the first time, this season that United will have one of their games televised live and Eguma is excited at the prospect.
