Hearts Striker Dauda Not Bothered About Efe Ahead Big Game At Celtic Park
Published: April 01, 2016
Heart of Midlothian attacker Abiola Dauda is relishing the prospect of facing champions Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday and is not bothered about the personal confrontation with Nigeria international Efe Ambrose.
Dauda arrived Hearts on loan from Dutch side Vitesse in the January transfer window and has enjoyed relative success with the club, notching three goals in six league appearances.
“Well it is a big game for us and I think for Celtic as well so we have to go there and show our quality,” said Dauda to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The isn’t about one player so I’m not really focusing on that but it will be nice to play against him (Efe Ambrose). Maybe Juwon talked with him because they know each other.”
The Swedish-Nigerian netted two goals in his first two games in all competitions but has managed one goal since his brace versus Ross County on February 10.
“I am not under any pressure from anybody to score, than to keep pushing hard and I know everything will be fine, and I believe I will score more goals before the end of the season,” he concluded.
Ahead of the tie at Celtic Park, Hearts sit third on the table with 56 points, while Celtic are first with 69 points garnered from 30 games.
